customers are aware that the Directors of Orchard Catering Services
Ltd., are themselves professionals in the Catering Industry. John's mainstream experience is in the field of function catering and
catering to industry and commerce. His knowledge of special function
catering has developed over many years of organising and being involved
in the catering for commercial banquets, weddings, marquee catering and
a host of special events of all types for both private occasions. John
holds a Diploma of Food Hygiene and is registered to train staff for
their Primary Food Hygiene Certificate. In his role as Managing
Director, John controls the day to day running of the business as well
as personally supervising the preparation of all foods for almost every
function. John has also recently been involved in TV and Radio, cooking on the
Food Channel, working for Carlton TV on the set of Crossroads and
having a regular slot as the 'Kitchen Doctor' on Radio Nottingham,
doing cookery spots and phone-ins, as well as regularly doing cookery
demonstrations for organisations. Liz holds an OND in Hotelkeeping and Catering Operations and has
achieved a corporate membership of the HCIMA. Her experience has been
gained over a long period within the industry and her in-depth
knowledge of banqueting and special function work was largely gained
during her time with the Forte Organisation. As well as jointly running
the business with John, Liz is the Front of House Manager and
personally supervises the waiting staff. |
